TITLE: PERFORM SELECTED MOS TASKS ON VEHICLES UNDER FIELD CONDITIONS
In a field environment, given vehicles, necessary tools, equipment, and applicable references, with assistance and supervision, the student will perform selected MOS tasks on the M2/M3A2 BFV, M9OlA1 ITV and M981 FISTV series vehicles in accordance with the references.

TITLE: FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE (FTX)
In a field environment, given necessary equipment and references, the students execute tasks as they would within their unit in accordance with the references. Throughout the FTX the following subjects will be covered in a random sequence: Field safety briefing; recognize/react to chemical or biological hazard; put on, wear, and remove M17-series protective mask/hood; construct individual fighting positions; camouflage yourself and individual equipment; camouflage equipment; camouflage defensive positions; practice noise, light, and litter discipline; perform surveillance without aid of electronic devices; use challenge and password; report enemy information; maintain an Ml6A1/A2 rifle; perform a function check on Ml6Al/A2 rifle; load an Ml6Al/A2 rifle; employ an Ml8Al claymore mine; recover an Ml8Al claymore mine; react to indirect fire; react to flares; identify terrain features on a map; orient a map to the ground by map terrain association; determine grid coordinates.
