| The M981 Fire Support Vehicle (FISTV) is very similar to the M901 Improved TOW Vehicle (ITV).The purpose of the M981 vehicle is to increase the capabilities of the fire support teams supporting mechanized infantry, armor, and armored cavalry maneuver units.
